I was out running errands yesterday and stopped at a garage sale. Fun to do when it's snowing! Found a stack of 12 old Needlecraft magazines dated from 1919 through 1921. Of course I bought them.
They're fragile, but full of oh so wonderful articles, photos and drawings. I want to try to copy some of the fashions...they're awesome.
I'm going to dedicate this blog from here forward to fashion makeovers and clothing recycle projects. My last post included a link to Wardrobe Refashion, but it is going to begin charging a fee for access. That in itself wouldn't be a big problem, but the costs proposed is equal to about 8 to 10 annual magazine subscriptions. I simply can't afford that and will search the web for other wonderful sites to link to mine for refashion inspiration and tips.
I'm looking forward to blogging regularly here from now on and posting projects. Perhaps later, I, or other WR participants can allow outside content to be posted to our own blogs for more inspiration.
